April 2022: The MDL Paraquat class action judge will have a status conference on April 1st to review where the litigation is headed and how best to take the bellwether lawsuits forward for trial in November 2022. 44 new paraquat lawsuits have been added to the MDL in the last two weeks. At this pace, April 2022 will be the busiest month for new files yet. Last week, the parties filed their class-action bellwether picks with the Paraquat MDL judge. Those choices, however, have not been made public.

May 2022: In the last month, over 50 new cases have been added to the Paraquat Lawsuit Multidistrict Litigation (MDL). A group of six patients was recently selected by the Paraquat MDL court for the initial Paraquat Parkinson's disease bellwether trials. As a result, the first trial in November 2022 is approaching soon. The strategy is to select 16 paraquat claims from among the almost 1000 Parkinson's disease litigation claims filed. Following some limited fact discovery in these instances, paraquat attorneys on both sides submitted a preference list to the MDL court, ranking the 16 cases in order of priority. Attorneys for plaintiffs seek the finest facts for their clients, while defense attorneys want the worst. The judge whittled the list down to six Paraquat claims based on these rankings.

How Can We Help?

We are here for anyone who has experienced Sexual Abuse at a Pennsylvania Juvenile Detention Facility. Significant compensation may be available to those who act now. Contact us today for a Free Claim Review by filling out the form above.

Seek Justice Today

We are knowledgeable in youth detention sexual abuse claims and can address legal matters by explaining you or your child's rights as an inmate and initiating proceedings against responsible detention facility staff and counselors. We serve as your representatives with experience in aiding survivors of abuse and holding the juvenile justice system accountable. If victimized by staff, counselors, adults, or other children, our firm can assist in investigations and financial accountability.

If you or someone you love was sexually abused in a Pennsylvania juvenile detention or youth residential facility, you are not alone—and you have options. Pennsylvania law gives many survivors additional time to file a civil lawsuit, and major lawsuits are already holding facilities and state agencies to account. Our team helps survivors pursue compensation, anonymity where possible, and accountability for the institutions that failed to protect them. If you're uncertain about your eligibility, we're here to guide the process.

Any incidents involving sexual abuse or inappropriate sexual contact during your period in Pennsylvania custody deserve careful attention. We are here to offer a listening ear and assistance, even in cases where support may have been lacking in the past. Connect with us without delay for a Free Claim Review.

We collect placement and case files, staffing and incident reports, licensing and inspection records, prior complaints, and witness accounts. In juvenile-facility cases we look for patterns: understaffing, inadequate supervision, falsified logs, retaliation, or failures to report to DHS/ChildLine. When appropriate, we coordinate with law enforcement; Pennsylvania has no criminal statute of limitations for most child-sex offenses, which can aid parallel investigations.
